The new law attempts to preserve history by making it illegal to remove monuments that have been in place for more than 40 years.
The Alabama Memorial Preservation Act of 2017, signed into law Wednesday by Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R), protects historical Confederate monuments which have come under fire in recent weeks by Democratic politicians.
The new legislation prohibits:
The relocation, removal, alteration, renaming, or other disturbance of any architecturally significant building, memorial building, memorial street, or monument located on public property which has been in place for 40 or more years.
State Sen. Gerald Allen (R-Tuscaloosa), who proposed the bill, noted protecting monuments is about preserving history for future generations to learn from, the Huffington Post reported.

Julian Assange Speaks Out On Jared Kushner
May 28, 2017 BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY
Julian Assange takes sides with Jared Kushner for looking to set up back-channel communications for president-elect Trump. If you remember, Presidential Candidate Barack Obama opened a back-channel to Iran during the 2008 presidential campaign. That back channel communications went through retired Ambassador William G. Miller, who also led the 1979 negotiating mission during the Iran hostage crisis. Mr. Miller later confirmed this back channel activity.
As Written By REBECCA SAVRANSKY for The Hill:
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Sunday said he thinks President Trump’s adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner was “correct” if he attempted to set up backchannel communication with Russian leadership.
“Kushner correct to create channels with everyone,” Assange tweeted Sunday, following reports that Kushner sought to set up a line of communication between the Trump transition team and Moscow.
“CIA has no authority over leadership and is financially…

Here is updated analysis of the most recent so called ‘leaks’ being reported and repeated by the liberal mainstream media (MSM) involving President Trump. The probability that a portion of these ‘leaks’ are completely inaccurate remains very high.
The leaks are all being reported by biased liberal media outlets that were adamantly opposed to the election of President Trump.
These ‘leaks’ in all cases still are not supported with any names of so-called sources and in all cases the ‘leaks’ are meant to destroy the current President.
Former FBI Director James Comey reportedly made statements that were revealed in the media ‘leaks’ but to this date he has not corroborated any of the statements he reportedly made after his firing. . Comey was scheduled to go in front of Congress this past week but instead asked to reschedule so he could first talk to Comey’s predecessor at the FBI, Robert Mueller, who is now the appointed…

(CNSNews.com) — Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit against the Justice Department (DOJ) and the National Security Agency (NSA) for information about Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice’s communications concerning alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 election, the hacking of DNC computers, and the “unmasking” (identification by name) of any Trump campaign or transition team personnel as part of U.S. intelligence gathering activities.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton explained: “We want to know about the Obama White House involvement in the unprecedented spying on Donald Trump and other political opponents.”
“This intelligence operation may have led to the illegal ‘unmasking’ of Americans and the leaking of intelligence information to foment the story of Russian hacking of the DNC and sinister Russian influence on Trump and his associates,” he said. “The Trump administration has an opportunity to expose what the Obama White House was up to.”

Once Again, Hillary Clinton Thought She Had Something To Say.
For the second time Hillary Clinton appeared publicly. This time she thought she had something to say. Of course she proposed that President Trump be impeached. In her speech she brought up fabricated “obstruction of justice” claims and warned of the steps to authoritarianism. But, her attempt at a crowd-rousing legacy came to a screeching halt when Donald Trump Jr. set her straight.
Excuse Me Hillary . . . Who Was Impeached?
During her speech she referenced the resignation of President Richard Nixon, and a House committee’s impeachment investigation.
From Donald Trump News
She said: ‘We were furious about the past presidential election of a man whose presidency would eventually end in disgrace with his impeachment for obstruction of justice, after firing the person running the investigation into him at the Department of Justice.”
