10 Conspiracy Theories That Turned Out To Be True

Source: The Anti Media.org, by Jake Anderson

Sometimes conspiracy theories become conspiracy facts.

(ANTIMEDIA) In recent years, the mere notion of conspiracy theories has increasingly been stigmatized and ridiculed by mainstream news outlets, internet trolls, and “rational” thinkers. Yet, with powerful revelations by Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, WikiLeaks, and generations of intrepid journalists, we now know that many outlandish geopolitical and domestic “conspiracy theories” were and are cold-blooded truths of the modern world. Here are 10 that are well-documented and profoundly disturbing…

1) The Gulf of Tonkin Incident

conspiracy theoriesThe Gulf of Tonkin incident, a major escalator of US involvement in the Vietnam War, never actually occurred.

It’s true. The original incident – also sometimes referred to as the USS Maddox Incident(s) –involved the destroyer USS Maddox supposedly engaging three North Vietnamese Navy torpedo boats as part of an intelligence patrol. The Maddox fired almost 300 shells.

VIDEO Oops: Guests Remind NBC, CNN: MB Obama Gave Classified Intel To Russia

Reclaim Our Republic

Ever since Trump looked like he had a real chance of winning the presidency, the Russians have been scapegoated more often than during the Cold War. The mainstream media has continually pushed the narrative of the ‘evil Russians’ who are conspiring to install some sort of Manchurian candidate in the White House. And in light of this narrative, the fact that the Trump shared some non-operational intelligence with Russian officials has been blown extremely out of proportion.

In the following video, Right Wing News looks at how in the past, the Obama administration had also provided classified intelligence to the Russians, all in the name of intelligence sharing. The Obama administration had also mistakenly identified the CIA chief in Afghanistan, jeopardizing his mission. Of course, back then, the Russians were not demonized as the nefarious puppet masters they are today. The hypocrisy is astounding.

Former CIA Head Testimony: Still No Evidence of Trump-Russia Collusion

Reclaim Our Republic

 23 May 2017 by Joel B. Pollak

Former CIA director John Brennan testified before the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday that he was not sure if there was any evidence of collusion between the Russian government and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Yet Democrats are thrilled by his testimony, because he said there were contacts between Russian officials and some “U.S. persons involved in the Trump campaign,” and hence an FBI investigation was warranted.

Note that there is nothing new in what Brennan said. The New York Timesreported on January 19 — in a story timed to appear on Inauguration Day — that the intelligence services had “intercepted communications” between several Trump “associates” and Russian officials. (The same story said there was “no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing.”) And last week, Reuters reported that there were 18 such contacts — over seven months, less than three per month.

All that…

10 More Crazy Conspiracy Theories That Became Conspiracy Facts (Part Two)

Source: The Anti Media.org, by Jake Anderson

Generally speaking, conspiracy theories form where there is a vacuum of verifiable facts associated with a controversial, usually tragic event. The concept has evolved over the years and is a part of our popular culture. There are legions of conspiracy theorists and “truthers” who have devoted their lives to certain theories, and there are legions of skeptics who have devoted their lives to debunking those theories. All the while, conspiracy theories of every stripe and variety festoon the footnotes of history. Even the origin of the phrase itself is subject to conspiracy theory, as some researchers have argued that the CIA invented and promulgated the term in order to marginalize fringe thinkers and neutralize investigations.

The internet has obviously had a profound effect on conspiracy theories, simultaneously helping and hurting the cause. While a world of information is at people’s fingertips, so…

Why America’s department stores are in free fall

Source: The Week – Business

An already bad year for department stores is getting worse, said Lindsey Rupp at Bloomberg. After a lackluster holiday season, “every major chain in the industry” has reported disappointing quarterly sales. Macy’s reported that its quarterly profits fell 38 percent, to $71 million, from the same period a year ago. Kohl’s, Nordstrom, J.C. Penney, Dillard’s, and Hudson’s Bay Co., which owns Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor, all reported steep declines in same-store sales. The crushing results added a new layer of urgency to department stores’ efforts to slash expenses. Macy’s, for example, already has plans to close 100 underperforming stores, eliminating some 4,000 jobs, and executives say more closures might be necessary. Department stores, it seems, have a new mantra: “How quickly can we cut?”

Macy’s has become the new poster child for the retail apocalypse, said Abha Bhattarai at The Washington…

Seth Rich Plot Thickens: “DC Insider” Speaks Of “Complete Panic” At Highest Levels Of DNC

Source: Zero Hedge

Last week, Fox News dropped a bombshell report officially confirming, via anonymous FBI sources, what many had suspected for quite some time, that murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich was the WikiLeaks source for leaks which proved that the DNC was intentionally undermining the campaign of Bernie Sanders. In addition to exposing the corruption of the DNC, the leaks cost Debbie Wasserman Shcultz her job as Chairwoman.

Of course, if it’s true that WikiLeaks’ emails came from a DNC insider it would end the “Russian hacking” narrative that has been perpetuated by Democrats and the mainstream media for the past several months.  Moreover, it would corroborate the one confirmation that Julian Assange has offered regarding his source, namely that it was “not a state actor.”

Meanwhile, the plot thickened a little more over the weekend when Kim Dotcom confirmed via Twitter that he was working with Seth Rich…

NYT Report: FBI Believed MB Obama Was Rigging U.S. Election!

Reclaim Our Republic

May 19, 2017 By Kay Francis

A bombshell report has been released by theNew York Times, and it provides shocking evidence that FBI Director James Comey was fully aware Obama’s administration was rigging the presidential election in favor of failed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The report reveals Comey reopened the investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server solely to uphold the credibility of the F.B.I., out of fear that Obama’s administration was not supporting an independent, thorough investigation and he would be criticized for the unethical bias.

He anticipated Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch would intentionally close the investigation into Clinton’s email server before any true crimes were able to be revealed, based on an email obtained by Russian hackers and then intercepted by the F.B.I..

Based on the assumption that Clinton would win the election and Russian hackers would release the email…
