Burkina Faso Church Attacked: At Least 5 Dead

At least five people have been killed, including a priest, following an reported attack on a protestant church in Burkina Faso.

The victims were gunned down around noon on Sunday, after armed men arrived on motorbikes and entered the building towards the end of a service.

The attackers shot their guns into the air before killing their victims.

At least two people are missing, according to a security source who spoke to the AFP news agency.

The priest’s two sons were killed alongside him in the attack, according to BBC Africa.

The church they died in is in the parish of Silgadji and the suspects are believed to have fled north to the Mali border.

Burkina Faso has been plagued by terrorist attacks in recent years.

On 26 April six people, including five teachers, were killed in Maïtaougou, in the country’s eastern region.

The Kenyan government denies there is anything wrong with the vaccine, and says it is perfectly safe.

The Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, however, saw evidence to the contrary, and had six different samples of the tetanus vaccine from various locations around Kenya sent to an independent laboratory in South Africa for testing.

The HCG antigen is used in anti-fertility vaccines, but was found present in tetanus vaccines targeted to young girls and women of childbearing age. Dr. Ngare, spokesman for the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, stated in a bulletin released November 4:

“This proved right our worst fears; that this WHO campaign is not about eradicating neonatal tetanus but a well-coordinated forceful population control mass sterilization exercise using a proven fertility regulating vaccine. This evidence was presented to the Ministry of Health before the third round of immunization but was ignored.” (Source)

New York Times Writer Claims Jesus Was ‘Palestinian’

Just before publishing an article with comments from a theologian who identified as Christian but described the virgin birth as “bizarre” and the bodily resurrection of Jesus as fiction, The New York Times ran a column from a journalist who claimed the Son of God was not Jewish, but “Palestinian.”

Eric Copage, who is black and grew up in Los Angeles, said the frequently referenced Western depiction of Jesus — a fair-skinned man with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair — he saw was “amiss.” I absolutely agree with him; Jesus likely had darker features and olive-toned skin.

But just as soon as I agreed with Copage, I disagreed with him. He went on to write (emphasis mine):

Judge Upholds Mandatory Vaccination Ruling

A Brooklyn judge has sided with New York health officials to uphold a mandatory measles vaccinations order, dismissing a lawsuit from a group of parents who claimed the city had overstepped its authority.

Judge Lawrence Knipel on Thursday refused parents’ request to lift the vaccination order that was imposed last week to stem a severe measles outbreak. “A fireman need not obtain the informed consent of the owner before extinguishing a house fire,” Knipel wrote in his ruling as quoted by Gothamist. “Vaccination is known to extinguish the fire of contagion.”

On the same day, the city announced that it was closing four more schools and issuing three civil summons for parents who had failed to comply with the mandate.

Microsoft’s announcement is part of the company’s plan to compete with Amazon—the only company cleared to host the CIA and Defense Department’s secret and top secret classified data—and comes as both companies compete for a $10 billion military cloud contract called JEDI.

While Microsoft’s new data centers are operational, the company awaits security accreditation from the Defense Department before military branches or intelligence agencies can begin moving secret classified data to the facilities.
